Qualifications

I graduated in Slavic Philology from Christian Albrecht University in Kiel (Germany) and have been working as a translator for more than ten years. My mother tongue is Polish.

To incerease my knowledge in the technological area, after my studies I started to work as a translation engineer by the the american company Sun Microsystems Inc. There I localized in an international team software for the polish market and was responsible for the linguistic and technical quality assurance of the localized products. I also coordinated the work of external vendors and generated terminological and stylistic guidelines for the polish translations.

Now I work as a freelance translator. With several years professional translating experience I have completed translation projects for different worldwide operating companies.

In my spare time I publish linguistic articles in scientific journals and review liguistic and philological literature.
